In theory, a yoga retreat at a luxe hotel with rooms that look out over the East Palo Alto IKEA may sound like a misguided exercise, but after trying it myself (and, I’m not going to lie to you, loving it), my new philosophy is that there’s nothing wrong with paving the road to mindfulness with four-star luxury.
