Flight to Nowhere August 5, 2008
Emirates Airline is the first airline to bring the Airbus A380, the biggest passenger plane in the world to U.S. passengers. It will have a non-stop flight from San Francisco International Airport to Dubai in December. In the meantime, the airline stopped by SFO for a 2-hour flight back to SFO taking along Travel Industry VIPs to tour this "Hotel in the sky". The Airbus is complete with 14 Luxury First Class seats, which includes a 25-min hot shower and a privacy compartment, as shown. You may choose to lay flat in Business Class. The trip from SFO to Dubai will run you $14K, $9K or $1500, depending if you want first, business or economy seats.
